Drop-off and Pick-up Procedures

Arrival Procedures

Valet Drop-Off Procedure:

• Pull your car up to the drop off area located at the North sidewalk in front of the school where school attendants will greet your child. Please have your student on the passenger side of the car. This helps ensure children’s safety and keeps cars moving efficiently through the loading area. Please continue to pull as far forward as possible to allow room for others to pull in behind you. Remain in your vehicle.
• Students should unbuckle themselves from their car seat and wait in the car until an attendant is able to assist them.
• Students should be wearing their face mask. 
• Once students have been unloaded from the car, they will walk to the front of the building where they will wait to be escorted to their classrooms.

• If your student is riding the bus, please arrive at the stop 5 minutes prior to pick-up time. 
• When arriving, students will unload one bus at a time. 

Dismissal Procedures

• Seth Woodard starts dismissing students at 3:15 p.m. In order to prevent crowds of people at the front door, we require students leave school either on a school bus, or via a car in the valet line, or released to a guardian at the designated areas marked with signs indicating parent pick-up/drop-off for walkers. Please do not congregate by the school building. In a few weeks we will reevaluate our process and modify as needed.

Valet Pick-Up Procedure: 

• When picking up students, be sure the Car Dashboard sign with your child’s name is easily visible to the attendants by placing it in the front window or passenger side window. These signs help school staff know that you are the correct parent/guardian. If you don’t have your dashboard sign, you will be required to show identification.
• Please continue to move your vehicle forward to allow for room for others behind you.
• Please remain in your vehicle.
• Your child should enter the vehicle on the passenger side so they don’t have to enter the street.

Bus Pick-Up Procedure: 

• Students will be dismissed from their classrooms as each bus arrives.
• They will load directly onto the bus and sit in their assigned seats.
