Seth Woodard will be hosting an Open House, Wednesday, September 28 from 6:00-7:00 PM.

All parents/guardians will begin in the gym at 6:00 to hear from our new principal, Mr. Hoard! Then, at 6:10, you will head to your student's classroom to hear from their teacher! At 6:35, if you have a second child here at Seth, you'll head to their teacher's classroom!

Please note: Open House is designed for adults only! We are asking that students not come, so parents can enjoy the whole experience in the classroom.

Picture Day is quickly approaching! Be on the lookout for your child's form coming home and be ready to smile big on Thursday, September 22!

Remember: EVERY Friday is a Late Start! School will begin at 10:00 AM. Please check out the District Calendar for all the Late Starts, No School days, and when our various breaks begin and end.

If your child is in need of any vaccines, consider attending this clinic on September 14 at Centennial Middle School, 915 N. Ella Road.

Our district will honor the desires of a parent/guardian to opt out a student from being photographed or featured in the media (which includes website, social media or anything beyond use within the school).
In the August mailing that was sent to all WVSD families, the district included a sheet with our District and News Media Release policy that states, “Student achievements and activities will be published unless the parent or guardian directs otherwise.”

If a parent/guardian wishes to opt out a student from being photographed or featured in the media (which includes website, social media or anything beyond use within the school), we want to honor their wishes. If that is the case, the WVSD Opt-out Form can be found at wvsd.org under Parent/Student Resources. It should be completed and submitted each school year and kept on file in the school office.

Just a reminder: All West Valley offices will be closed in honor of Labor Day tomorrow!
Offices will reopen Tuesday!

Beginning the 2022-23 School Year, West Valley will be changing its Late Start Days to EVERY FRIDAY!
