2 Hour Delay

The National Weather Service is predicting a significant winter snowstorm with snowfall of 8 to 12 inches overnight for our region. While we normally wait until the morning to call a delay or closure, we are informing families now that Wednesday, November 30, will be a two-hour delay in order to allow the district adequate time to make a decision on a full-day closure. We hope this will provide families with more time to plan for their day. School is not canceled at this time but you will be informed no later than 7:30 a.m. regarding a potential closure.
All WVSD schools and buses will run two hours late tomorrow, Wednesday, November 30. Dismissal will be at the regular time. There will be no AM preschool, no zero hour at West Valley High School, no Skill Center buses and the Virtual Learning Center will have no live AM classes. There will be no breakfast districtwide. Student and staff safety continues to be a top priority.
