Hello, Seth Families and Students
Please familiarize yourself with the Home Learning Resources page under the Academics tab on our district website. As you know, the staff at Seth and throughout the district are working hard to support families during this challenging time. Teachers are compiling a menu of weekly resources to continue the process of learning at home. Although this doesn’t take the place of regular classroom instruction, it will supplement student learning at home. At this point, we are not collecting or grading assignments. Each week, however, we will add resources to the website. Hard copy versions are also available at each of the schools.
Your teachers are taking the time to curate activities that are associated with grade-level standards. Depending on your family’s situation during this time, we understand that it may be easier for some families than others to engage in stimulating learning activities. Despite the various situations, families find themselves in, you can be assured that by accessing the resources on our website, your children will not only maintain active brains, but they will also remain connected to important grade-level standards.
If you or families you know would benefit from hard copy versions of these resources, you may pick them up at Seth or other schools between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM daily. Free lunch and breakfast meals are available at this time also. Please just pull up to the curb and let our staff know how we can help. Feel free to call the office if it is difficult for you to come to the school, and let us know if you need supplies or materials to support the activities.
Please know that we are thinking about you and we miss seeing students and families each day. If students haven’t heard from teachers yet, they will soon! Teachers will provide plenty of encouragement and answer any questions students may have!
