There will be no school for students on Monday, October 6, for a staff professional development day. We hope you enjoy the long weekend, and we’ll see everyone back on Tuesday, October 7.

We are so excited to welcome our Kindergarteners on September 2nd for their first day of school!

Join us for a special outdoor movie night to celebrate the launch of our brand-new playground, made possible by years of community fundraising. On August 25th at 7:30 p.m., we'll be showing The Wild Robot.

Bring your snacks or dinner, chairs, and cozy blankets, and enjoy a fun evening with us.

We can't wait to welcome our 1st-5th graders back on August 27th for the first day of school!

-Practices run Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 3:30-4:15 PM, starting September 9th.

This school year, all West Valley students can once again enjoy free breakfast and lunch no matter your family's income via the CEP program. Plus we're covering the cost of basic supplies for our in-person elementary and middle school students. If a teacher or school needs something extra, they'll communicate that at the start of school.

Save the Date: Meet the Teacher & Open House Combined Event!

To make the start of the school year as convenient as possible for our families, we’re combining Meet the Teacher and Open House this year!

Date: Tuesday, August 26th
Time: 2:00–3:00 PM

Here’s what to expect:
-Please meet in the gym at 2:00 PM for a welcome back from Mr. Hoard, our principal, and a few important announcements.
-Then, teachers will host two 20-minute information sessions:
• Session 1: 2:15–2:35 PM
• Session 2: 2:40–3:00 PM

These sessions will be a great opportunity to visit classrooms, meet your child’s teacher, and learn what to expect in the upcoming school year.
