Save the Date: Meet the Teacher & Open House Combined Event!

To make the start of the school year as convenient as possible for our families, we’re combining Meet the Teacher and Open House this year!

Date: Tuesday, August 26th
Time: 2:00–3:00 PM

Here’s what to expect:
-Please meet in the gym at 2:00 PM for a welcome back from Mr. Hoard, our principal, and a few important announcements.
-Then, teachers will host two 20-minute information sessions:
• Session 1: 2:15–2:35 PM
• Session 2: 2:40–3:00 PM

These sessions will be a great opportunity to visit classrooms, meet your child’s teacher, and learn what to expect in the upcoming school year.

We can’t wait to welcome everyone back and kick off another amazing year together!

We’re back! The office at Seth Woodard Elementary is now open from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday through Friday, as we gear up for an exciting new school year!

Online enrollment for the 2025-26 has been paused due to a software migration. Registration will reopen at the beginning of August. For more information, contact the WVSD office at 509-924-2150.

Our office is now closed for the summer. We will reopen on August 11th at 8:00 AM.

Free breakfast and lunch will be offered to children under age 18 during the summer. Click the headline to learn more.

ALL students will receive breakfast and lunch next year as well as free school supplies.

Save the dates for our 2025-2026 back to school events!

August 26th - Open house from 2-3 PM
August 27th - First day of school for 1st-5th graders
September 2nd - First day of school for kindergarteners

Our talent show will take place on June 5th from 2:00-3:00 PM in the gym. The show is open to friends and family members of students.
